ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
AHA’s classroom or blended learning First aid, CPR AED
or bloodborne pathogens courses are designed for anyone with little or
no medical training and needing a course completion card for job,
regulatory or other requirement with courses that meet OSHA requirements.

The American Heart Association's CPR and AED
learning programs helps increase survival rates by training people just
like you to respond quickly. The sad truth is most people don't survive
a cardiac arrest. Four to six minutes is the window of opportunity for
someone to act before it's too late, but fewer than one-third of
cardiac arrest victims get CPR from someone nearby.
